Thomas Robshaw (alias Bob) is 22. He was born in the fine Yorkshire town of Huddersfield, but was raised and has lived most of his life in nearby Rotherham. He attended Brinsworth Comprehensive School and enjoyed painting things in art class so much that he decided to make a career out of it. He studied at Chesterfield Art College and progressed to Liverpool John Moores University where he proceeded to drink beer at The Jacaranda Club (one of about 500 'official' birthplaces of The Beatles) and also somehow found time to complete a degree in Graphic Arts. He attained a very respectable 2:1 but unfortunately forgot to pick up a graduation pack at the end of the year and so missed out on his own awards ceremony (although mysteriously, he was present at the piss-up afterwards.)

Since graduating and going into professional practice his work has been applied to a variety of different projects and commissions including a promotional poster for E-Sheaf (Sheffield Hallam University's literary appreciation society) and a logo design for the Derby heavy metal band ARDrive Rhythm. He has participated in and sold work at several major art exhibitions nationwide including The Islington Art & Design Fair in London and The Great Sheffield Art Show, both in 2006. His work is available for sale at KuDu: A handmade arts and craft shop in Sheffield city centre and also online at the prestigious fine art website degreeart.com. Most recently he has begun work on a children's book 'Abigail & Sneasy The Greasy Babysitter,' his first major publishing project, in collaboration with the American author Michelle Birdsong, which should be published in early 2007. He is a member of the British Association of Illustrators and has
recently participated in a rigorous series of buisness classes on the subject of competence and professionalism in the field of illustration.
